HELLO COCHUSA Family,

On Thursday, 23-Apr-2015, the Lord blessed me once again with traveling grace to travel to Virginia to attend the Eastern Diocese 47^th Annual Youth Conference. The conference was held at the Holiday Inn Virginia Beach Norfolk Hotel and Conference Center from 24-26-April-2015. There were over 700 in attendance of all ages. The fellowship was loving and the spirit of the Lord was in the place and dwelled richly among us. This was a Reunion youth conference so former members, old friends and relations from the past were in the house and in abundance. The Friday night concert featured performances from many of the diocese youth, visitors, myself and the head-line feature was the Eastern Diocese Reunion Choir. The glory of the Lord came down that night! Saturday included a competitive Bible Bowl, an array of workshops, an offsite activity at Kempsville High School which included games and a Bar-B-Q. The day ended with an elegant black-tie Banquet which was well attend by all ages and featured the past 8 Youth Conference Presidents, board members and dignitaries walking a long Red-Carpet into the ballroom. During the banquet, all children in attendance were asked to walk the red carpet as we all stood and gave them a standing ovation to make a memory they’d never forget. Bishop Lindsay Jones was the guest speaker for the night and the Reunion Choir and I sung again to cap off another day of excellence.

The Eastern Diocese Youth Conference was a blessed revival to everyone in attendance and one that will remembered for years to come. Youth Conference President Deacon Steven Hill, Bishop Maurice Nicholson and all support staff are to be COMMENDED for a job Well-Done and for working in harmony and being led by the Holy Spirit to be a refreshing-blessing for the people of the Eastern Diocese.
