Arise: It’s Your Time

Esther 4:14
For if thou altogether holdest thy peace at this time, then shall there enlargement and deliverance arise to the Jews from another place; but thou and thy father’s house shall be destroyed: and who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this?

Initiatives to help us RISE

Reclaim What We Lost

We seek to reconnect with our church family who we have lost touch with and rebuild our community through Outreach led by the Office of Evangelism.

Invest in What We Have

Through the Master Plan Support and Development Committee, we will focus on wise stewardship of our church properties, schools, and youth to ensure sustainable growth.

Serve Our Communities

We will engage in service, focusing outward to help vulnerable communities, guided by the Office of Evangelism, making practical impacts that reflect our faith. We will also improve our service inwardly through our Office of Communications who will provide needed support and resources to our leaders and congregations.

Expand Our Territory

Inspired by Bishop C.P. Jones, we will grow through church planting, supported by the National Office of Church Plant Support, to reach new regions and strengthen existing congregations.

Tips on Evangelism
  • Use your testimony. Our testimonies are some of the most powerful tools we have for evangelism.
  • Be a good listener.
  • Don’t pretend to have all the answers.
  • Pray sincerely.
  • Go out and share your faith. Take someone with you and have them pray quietly while you are witnessing.
EVANGELISM IS SHARING YOUR FAITH WITH OTHERS.
2 Corinthians 5:18-20
Reconciliation is the process of two previously alienated parties
coming to peace with each other. The process by which God and man are brought together again. The Bible teaches that God and man are alienated from one another because of God’s holiness and man’s sinfulness. Although God loves the sinner (Romans 5:8), it is impossible for Him not to judge sin (Hebrews 10:27). Therefore, in Biblical reconciliation both parties are affected. Through the sacrifice of Christ, man’s sin is atoned, and God’s wrath is appeased. Thus, a relationship of hostility and alienation is changed into one of peace and fellowship.
Galatians 6:1; 2 Chronicles 7:14;
Jeremiah 30:11; 1 Peter 5:10
In the Bible, restoration is the act of restoring something or someone to its original state; or making something better than it is. It can also be referred to the spiritual alignment that occurs when people turn to God.
  • Restoration of everyday life, Genesis 40:13; Job:6
  • Restoration with God, Jeremiah30:17; 2 Chronicles 7:14
  • Restoring from emotional wounds, Psalm 23:3; Psalm 147:3
God’s restoring power is one of His greatest promises. God’s
restoration plan involves improving and going beyond what people can imagine. Through the redeeming work of Jesus Christ, both humanity and restored.
Romans 10:9—10; 1 John 1:9
Salvation is deliverance of people from sin and its
consequences, such as death and separation from God. Our need for salvation began when man was removed from the Garden of Eden.  Salvation is obtained by faith in God’s only Son Jesus Christ, in what He has done for us—specifically, His death on the cross, His burial and His resurrection. Faith cannot be generated on our own power. Faith is the gift of God (Ephesians 2:8). Faith in Jesus Christ as our Savior,
because of His unconditional, wholehearted love for us, God took on human form and died for us. He took the punishment we deserved—washed us in His blood and redeemed us back to God.  However we must confess with our mouth, the Lord Jesus and believe He was raised from the dead and we will be saved. When we win others for Christ, HE IS GLORFIED!
