Since 1987, Women’s History has been celebrated in the month of March. The United Christian Women’s Ministries finds it fitting to express our appreciation for the contributions made by women. We celebrate the women that inspired us as we read their stories in the Word of God. We celebrate the women in our recent history that have gone on to receive their heavenly reward. We celebrate the women that live among us today, who in their own way, accepted God’s call to service in our church, our community and beyond.
We praise God for the trail blazers who lived by faith and who by God’s strength made a pathway for you and me to carry out our purpose to help build God’s kingdom.
We praise God for the women who are making history today and pray that all women will have the attitude of Mary when she said in Luke 1:38, “Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word.”
