Tony Evans, senior-pastor of the Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship in Dallas, best-selling author and president of The Urban Alternative, a Christian broadcast ministry, will speak at the Rainer B. Wilson Fellowship Banquet during the 119th National Convention of COCHUSA.

“Tony Evans is not only a noted author and pastor, but also a Christian leader who is inspirational to the communities around the church. He is very engaged and active in education programs and supports students throughout the course of the school year,” said Bishop Vernon E. Kennebrew, presiding Bishop of the Church of Christ (Holiness) USA.

The Rainer B. Wilson Fellowship Banquet has been traditionally recognizing high school graduates as well as past Congress Presidents. “What makes this event special is that we honor high school students for their academic achievements and we challenge them and others to pursue a higher education. We also celebrate another year of accomplishments as a church community in a spiritual sense,” said Bishop Kennebrew.

BET Sunday Best winner Geoffrey Golden was confirmed as the special guest and musical performance of the event.

This year marks the 75th anniversary of the National Sunday Church and Holiness Youth Ministries along with the 150th celebration of Bishop Charles Price Jones.
