Hello COCHUSA Family,
We had a wonderful Parent Body Spring Executive Board meeting on Saturday, 18-May-13 at Sweet Rest COCHUSA where Eld Joseph Pridgen is pastor. That Saturday night, I attended the CD Release Concert for one of our own, Sis Taryn Johnson. All hearts were blessed at this wonderful concert that was held at Greater Mt Bethel COCHUSA in Jackson, MS where she’s a member. COCHUSA Members, former members, relatives and friends were out in great numbers to wish our dear sister well.
On Sunday morning, 19-May-13, I traveled to Hazlehurst, MS to attend the services at Temple COCHUSA where Eld Timothy Neyland is pastor. After arriving and greeting Pastor Neyland, I was asked to perform and be the morning speaker. The congregation was very warm and we had a wonderful fellowship together and I was very encouraged to see over half the congregation was under the age of 25!
On that Sunday night, I attended the COCHUSA Nat’l Music Workshop which was held at Mother Church in Jackson, MS. All choirs were energized and ready to Bless the Lord with all the music they’d learned over the weekend. And as the old’ folk would say, “And a good-time was had by all!”
