I pray all is well with each of you. I made a visit to the Northern District of the Western Diocese on the last weekend, 7-10-April-2017.
That Saturday, I attended an awesome 90th Birthday Celebration for Mother Ollie Winn at the Hercules Community Center in Hercules, CA. Mother Ollie Winn is the mother of Bishop Robert Winn and Eld Benjamin Winn. There were family and friends present from all over the country. She still drives and cooks everyone’s favorite foods. Remember Mother Ollie in your prayers.
I attended Sunday morning Sunday School and worship service with Golden Gate COCHUSA in San Francisco, CA where Eld Don E. Smith is the Interim Pastor. We had a wonderful time together praising our Lord. You’ll see two new young friends that I made in the above pictures. Interim Pastor Smith treated many of us to a wonderful lunch and then we were on to Oakland, CA to participate in a special Northern District Awards service held at Emmanuel COCHUSA where Eld Anthony Miller is pastor. Many service awards were given to senior members with some of them serving in their local churches for over 60 years. This was truly a heart-warming service and I encourage you to consider doing something special to say thank-you to your senior members from time to time.
I’m elated to announce that the Northern District presented the KJA Scholarship Fund, $8,500.00 during that service!! WOW!! They’ve been doing fund-raisers for the last two months to help make a significant difference with a contribution to the KJA scholarship Fund. And a BIG Difference they made!! They just wanted to go above and beyond in helping to educate “OUR” young people.
THANK YOU to everyone in the Northern District of the Western Diocese for a glorious weekend and for allowing me to come in and be a part of all three services. The Winn Family, the Western Diocese Sunday School & HYM President, Deacon Ken Winn and Northern District Sunday School & HYM President, Sis Jill Gilbert and Northern District Chairman, Eld Anthony Miller are to be commended for a job WELL-DONE!!

I thank God for His traveling mercy and grace.
God Bless, Ambassador Allen
